A wheel is a wheel? Jan 16, 2011

This is the only pack that offered three Mario Kart wheels. Plenty of offers for two wheels, but if you get the Mario Kart that comes with only one wheel, you have limited options to fill out the other three players short of buying a two pack and then a single.
The first thing to note is that the wheels offered are not those shown in the product picture. They are the same diameter of the official Nintendo wheel but with a lot less plastic. The lines across the wheel and the support down from the middle are straight and at a minimum for plastic. The back side of the remote holder is open and does not contain an extension of the B button. Therefore, you have to reach a little further to use the B button that is on the remote itself.
The Wii remote does fit snuggly into the wheel and the open back does make it easier to get the strap through.
The price ($11) is fair for what you get but the shipping is $10, but overall is still cheaper than buying three official wheels or three other manufacturer's brand.
I'll have to see how they do after a lot of use. But on initial look and use, these wheels should do the trick.

If you're expecting these to be like the Nintendo Wii brand wheels- forget it...you get what you pay for: An inexpensive alternative. They serve their purpose well, and our daughter didn't even notice the difference between these and the real thing (we have both).
