Not the best design... Jan 15, 2010
By Turret42

Although the idea is great, the design leaves a LOT to be desired. First, it's tough to get the remote into the handle. After we finally wrestled the remotes into the sabers (with our children dancing about us impatiently) my husband and I discovered that the sabers BLOCK the remote's signal!!! We had to pry the remote back out to start the game!
After one round of dueling in Sports Resort, the kids wanted them off. Don't waste your money on these!

looks cool but not needed for game Dec 27, 2009
By E. Anderson Bought for Star Wars clone wars light saber duels. It was hard to get the controllers into the holders and the game plays better without them.

Wii Light Sabers Feb 12, 2010
By Eileen Jaramillo The light sabers are not compatible with Lego Star Wars, even though they were grouped together on the site. The box does not say they are compatible, but the website gave the impression they were.

Fun, fun, fun......... Oct 21, 2009
By Donna M. Gillespie Love these sabers for Wii Sports Resort. Makes the game so much fun (and good exercise for the arms).

It was worth a shot, but... Mar 10, 2010
By Chris I read the other reviews, and knew that these might not work, but I thought that we might get enough functionality out of the sabers to be worth the cost in the fun-factor for a 4 year old. Unfortunately, when the sabers were put in place on the Wii remotes, the signal from the remotes for the buttons was blocked. The sabers were cute, and my son loved them, but we purchased them with the intent of him using them for the sword fighting game in Wii Sports Resort (his favorite, and very entertaining for spectators), and even my husband and I were frustrated by the blocked signal. We wound up returning the product. It may work better for the Star Wars game, which is what I believe it was designed for, but for the Wii Sports Resort, it was more trouble than it was worth.
