No Deal or No Deal Oct 13, 2010
By Steve Game spends to much time jumping to other games. Not easy to load and graphics are poor at best. Love the Wii and understand the graphics are not the best but this game is well below average. It would be nice just to be able to play a game of Deal or no Deal with the family without all the extras. Would not recommend.

Buy the first version Nov 27, 2011
By Heather English I bought this at a black friday sale and playing it can be fun and boring at the same time I read the information on the other game that came out the year before this one and that one sounds more thrilling to me.
I do like that at times it does feel like your playing the game as if your on tv.
Others it doesn't. The characters are kind of annoying in that they repeat several sayings and sometimes say them when it doesn't make sense. Like the ladies will say, well you tried your best and you just knocked out a low number.
the worst part is the mini arcade games, their built into the "career" part of the game and you have no choice but to play them or wait and let the time run out to get back to the real game.
It was only $10, but amazon's is twice that and not worth $20 plus shipping.
I would say buy the earlier version

Fun but flawed Dec 31, 2010
By Sarah It's fun to play but not without its flaws. Graphics leave something to be desired and people seem to move real slow. The contestants are quirky and need more of a variety of lines. The games in between ("commercial time") aren't bad overall. If you're not particular about graphics or originality then buy this game...but I'm sure there are better Deal or No Deal games out there too.

Loads of fun: Mar 29, 2011
By Michael Smith The game was a gift for my wife. She enjoys playing it almost every day. I got my money's worth.
TV Show does not translate into Video Game... Dec 20, 2011
By JMM I'm not a frequent viewer of "Deal or No Deal" on TV, but I always wondered how I would do if I were on the show (as I imagine many people do). So I purchased this game hoping that the experience would be a quality one.
The video game does resemble the TV show in many ways. The format of the game is the same... you choose a number of cases, and then the bank makes you an offer, which you either accept or decline, and the cycle continues.
Let me state the problems that I have with this game:
1. Graphic are terrible, which fortunately are not that important for a game like this, but I was much more impressed by other "game show" Wii games like Wheel of Fortune.
2. Sound is equally bad. The talking of Howie and the various contestants gets boring and repetitive quickly. You can skip through these "chats" by pressing B on your remote, but it still is a nuisance. Trust me, after 30 minutes of hearing "Open the Case", your will start to get aggravated.
3. The game lets you choose from a group of stock characters to represent yourself as a contestant. You cannot customize these characters, nor can you use your personalized Mii in this game.
4. The Wii remote is not used to its full potential here. All you do is point to the cases you want to open. Fortunately, there are some faster-paced mini-games under the "arcade" section of the game, where the Wii remote gets more action.
5. Now, allow me state the obvious: the game is diminished because there are no real stakes - you don't stand to actually win any amount of money as you would on the TV show. At least games like "Wheel of Fortune" and "Millionaire" challenge a player's skill and knowledge, but "Deal or No Deal" is all about the money - this is one TV show that doesn't translate well into the gaming universe.
6. The game gets boring quickly, and I would say that the replay value is very poor. Yes, there may be an infinite number of ways in which to arrange the money in the cases, but the games doesn't get any more exciting after the first time you play it.
NOTE: I purchased the "Special Edition" version of the game. There is another, less expensive version: Deal or No Deal (I don't know if there are any differences between the two games).
