A perfect knock off Jan 08, 2011
By Sally I was hesitant to purchase this product due to the fact that I hate dealing with knock off brands. I have dealt with knock offs in the past and had a bad experience with that (it was a knock of game controller). Anyway, the reason I decided to try this item out was due to the fact that I got an excellent deal (I actually won them off ebay for half of Amazon's price) and they were black. I prefer black over white.
Trust me when I say that these wheels feel EXACTLY like the Nintendo Brand. If you were to have me close my eyes and hand me either the knock off wii wheel or the original wii wheel, I would not be able to tell the difference. It has an open hole on the side for the sensor just like the original, it has a button on the back that functions and feels exactly like the original, etc.
Now, onto reviewing the game play with this wheel. I used to not enjoy the wii wheel because I found it to be too difficult and would instead use the nunchuck and wii remote to control my characters. Well, lately I decided to practice more with the wii wheel and it is actually not as hard as I originally thought it was. What's great about it is how accurate it is. If you turn slightly, your character turns slightly. If you turn sharply, your character turns sharply. It's quite accurate and I love how well they did it.
Also, please keep in mind that this wheel, like the original, is just a wheel. In reality, you technically do not even need it to play. You can hold your wii remote in your hands and turn it as if it were a wheel, but in all honestly I like the wheel because it helps me steer much more accurately. It gives me the right feel I need to judge how hard to turn and such and it also is a lot more comfortable in my hands than just using the wii remote by itself.
All in all, I highly recommend this product.

wii wheel accessory Nov 11, 2010
By Jason Nechanicky lacking the wii logo & nintendo logo gives the feeling these are knock-offs. very good knock-offs, as there are no problems with fit issues with a wii remote. button functions well. did have some issues with the wii remote's interaction with the sensor bar when the remote was inserted into the wheel. This caused a lot of frustration so I took a screwdriver and hammer and broke out the small window that is in the wheel. Since then no problems. Overall happy that I have wheels that match my black console but frustrated with the remote interactions.

Decent Jun 24, 2011
By R's Review The wheels are decent. It is a very tight fit for the remotes into the wheel, they don't fit comfortably like in the official Wii Racing Wheel that comes with Mario Kart. You have to push it in a good bit. However they get the job done. No issues with the sensor or controls. I would give it a 5 if the fit was just a little larger.
close enough to the real thing Apr 15, 2012
By Karen We play a lot of mario Kart here. A lot of multi player games, a lot of fun. But we only had one of the Wii wheeles. So I ordered two of these, and now it is a lot more fun. The only one who really notices that there is a difference is my very picky 13 year old daughter. She can tell the difference between these, and the one that came with her Wii. But it really does not matter which remote you grab, they all work the same, feel almost exactly alike, and all make the game a lot more fun.
Well made Mar 11, 2012
By John Sawicky They are black plastic wheels that match our black Wii. They hold the controller, they work. The only drawback is you have to remove the sleeve.
