Simply remove the battery cover and batteries from your Balance Board and replace them with the included rechargeable battery pack for hours of continuous gameplay. Two bonus USB ports free up space on your Wii console and AC power means the stand can be placed wherever it’s most convenient for you. After you’ve completed your workout or gaming session, just place the Balance Board in the stand and its LED indicator will let you know when the battery has been fully recharged, saving you the time, money and hassle of replacing expensive batteries. | |

AWESOME!!! Even WITH a skin... Jun 09, 2010

This thing is GREAT and it certainly eases your mind about buying batteries every few weeks/months!! It's unfortunate (and smacks of sheer laziness) that someone gave it only two stars because of a silly thing like a removable skin. Seriously. I have a skin for my board (a nice blue one :)) and, granted, while it doesn't fit into the charger "as is," all you have to do is unhook one side of the skin (the side by the left foot, since the charger's oriented that way) and drape it over the charging stand as it slides in. DONE. When you're ready to use it, just slide it out, re-hook the skin (which takes less than 5 seconds. I counted) and you're good to go. It's not rocket science. Really. That's why it's such a good product.

Great! Nov 16, 2010

I just got the Wii Fit last week as a gift, and knowing that I would use it a lot I went ahead and purchased this recharging stand for it so I wouldn't go through so many batteries. It works great! Okay so just like some of the other reviewers said it doesn't work with the skin on but also as mentioned it is a quick unhook and rehook. Charging didn't take long at all, and it really holds the charge well. I am glad I purchased this item.

Don't store your Balance Board Vertically Oct 15, 2010
By Ryan L. Schick Wii Fit Plus specifically instructs you not to store the balance board vertically. It should always be stored flat on a level surface. Storing vertically can damage or shorten the life of the load cells in the board. I used to store my balance board standing up until the Wii fit game warned me not to upon starting up the game one time. I don't own this product, but I do know that the board should not be stored standing on end like this. I'm not making any comment on the quality of this product.
