It will make your DS look nice, personalized and help you know which is who's.
Putting it on wasn't difficult until you got to punching out the holes for the speakers. If not properly punched out or placed over speaker area correctly the volume will not be as good, muffled or low sounding, which is understandable when you have the speakers blocked or partially blocked. Not all the holes are lined up with the speakers.
I bought these for my children who love Star Wars. After a 2 week period both children tore them off due to not hearing clearly. In my opinion it was not worth the money.

I put this skin on my son's DSL and it helps give it some style. The stickers are fairly thick and seem to stick really well. They also seem to be cut properly so there's no "wiggle" needed to get it to line up properly. Unfortunately, this was my second skin purchased and this one was not printed correctly. The image is offset from the edges so on one edge you don't see the image. Not a show stopper and my son hasn't noticed it, but I did.
