Super Mario Galaxy Collector's Edition: Prima Official Game Guide (Prima Official Game Guides)
The guide is Wonderful even beautiful. Sparkly lettering on the jacket and an all black paged guide,very elegant and space themed.
The poster is full movie poster size and glows wonderfully in the dark.
The "NOTE" included that is "signed" by Miyamoto is actually a stickynote sized print on a page in the back. I was expecting a real tangible note but maybe I expect to much for a twenty. Would have been nice though.
The content of the guide itself is wonderful and very well done. every secret is there and in depth with story and concept art.

I recommend it. It is very detailed with how to get the stars. Many secrets are revealed and as well as a star checklist, which will be very helpful in the game. The artwork that is presented is beautifully done and helps show what developers put into the game. Signed note by Miyamoto was a good touch too. Hardcover also makes the guide even better.

This guide is very well written full of beautiful 3-D pictures to help guide you through the game. It has every little detail, boss information, and a whole bunch of secrets! I highly recommend this guide for Super Mario Galaxy because it is very helpful.

Great guide and very practical. I was able to complete the entire game with this book.
My only complaint is that there is not a "beastiary" or full enemy list to speak of. It does not hurt the guide at all, but I always like to see all of the enemies listed with a brief description and ways to defeat them.
Concept art section rocks! Wish there was more of it!

This is the Collector's Edition, which I never expected to be much different than the ordinary Prima Guides. We have many of the guides for the games my 10 year old plays, since he loves to find the "extras" and Prima Guides never disappoints. This is truly a BOOK and looks much nicer than the typical soft cover, so it is more impressive as a gift...still at a decent price. I recommend all of the guides since my son and all of his friends find themselves reading all the details and enjoying the games even more once they find all the additional things they can do. This one is particularly nice looking and substantial and has EVERYTHING he needs to make the most of the game.
