| | Description | Give your Wii Fit aerobics workout an extra boost with the Multifunctional Aerobic Step Platform for the Wii Fit Balance Board. This platform elevates your Wii Fit Balance Board to a full 4 inches, a standard height for actual step aerobics. This platform adjusts to two different height levels. By lying it flat horizontally or turning it on its side vertically, the step height is taken to 6 inches in height. For a secure grip, the platform has rubber pads on the bottom and both sides of the platforms. With The Multifunctional Aerobics Platform you’ll be performing step aerobics exercises with your Wii just like you would at the gym, but with out the expensive gym memberships. | |

Fantastic Product Sep 28, 2010
By David Greenfield I have no idea what the previous review was about; I don't think he/she had a clue what they were buying. This is exactly what it is "described to be." Of course, it does not come with the balance board! The balance board sells for somewhere above 100 bucks alone. This is a "STAND" for the Wii balance board and worth every penny. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble, and it has changed my Wii fitness stepping exercised to an entirely new level. Now, I break out in a sweat when I have to lift my legs higher to do aerobics. I couldn't recommend this product more to someone who uses Wii fitness software often. People should read the description of the products they puchase, not to mention the video that shows exactly what this product does. *****

Great Way to Improve you Wii Fit Workouts Oct 04, 2010

This step platform is great. I use it for a few different Wii Fit Plus workouts - mainly Advanced Step and Rhythm boxing, and it feels like I'm getting a more intense workout. I have not had any issues with it missing steps and the board fits snuggly onto the platform. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to add a little something extra to their workouts.

Workout Booster! Dec 14, 2010
By Bookwormette I have the lower version of this step, and when I saw this one, I bought it, thinking I was ready for the challenge of a six inch step. I was wrong! This new 6 inch step really makes me work, and I am hard-pressed to finish a 30 minute step workout on EASA2, on easy. I can easily finish a 30 minute step workout with EASA1. I bought this step in late November, and I have yet to complete a 30 minute step workout in EASA2. If you are looking for something to rev up your calorie burn, this step is a must.

Not bad, but not without a couple issues.... Jan 18, 2011
By Michael Kopack Ok, I bought this last week.. My hope was to use it at the higher 6" level to really intensify my workouts...
A couple issues I have with it though.
First, I work out in my livingroom which is carpeted, which means I normally have the small add on foot pads on my balance board to get it to register correctly. If you have those on yours, you'll need to take them off in order to place the balance board onto this platform. That can be a bit problematic if you do some exercises with the board on the stand and some on the floor.
Second issue - the 2 cross poles that you use to help hold the unit together when in the 6" configuration don't seem quite long enough. If you put the cross plank in up top, then the poles don't go completely snuggly in their holes on both sides. As a result, it seemed a bit rickety while in the 6" configuration. Yeah, you can stand on it, but I felt kind of nervous heaving my 220 lbs up and down during the step aerobics routine with it not feeling solid. One good mis-step and I felt like it would snap and break.
As a result, I've just set it to the lower 3" height and keep it at that for everything and just leave the balance board on it full time that way. Kind of disappointing since I wanted the harder 6" configuration. I'm considering putting it in the 6" config and epoxying everything (minus balance board) together to make it more rigid and strong. Sad since just making the rods 1" longer would have made everything nice and solid...
Otherwise, it does what it should and works fine. Just be aware of the issues before you decide to buy.

Product works well Feb 05, 2011
By SN This product works very well. I had read several reviews on similar products that reported issues with recording weight and steps correctly. This product measures every thing very accurately for me. No need for poker chip solutions here!
